Professional Life

Susanna Howlett provides reflective supervision to a range of professional people. She was co-director and key trainer in the Advanced Training Course in Professional Supervision until 2021.

Susanna has many years’ experience in the psychosocial field of health and has held a number of senior positions as academic, practitioner, trainer and manager.  Susanna qualified as an occupational therapist in 1966 and retired in 2021. She had 13 years teaching experience as lecturer and senior lecturer in the New Zealand and Western Australian schools of Occupational Therapy.  

Susanna qualified as a psychodramatist in 1979 with the Psychodrama Training Institute of W.A. and is a 2008 Graduate of the Hakomi Psychotherapy Training Course (mindfulness-based psychotherapy). She conducted the Groupwork Facilitation Training Course at The Wasley Institute for 18 years, as well as conducting psychotherapy groups, personal growth groups, professional development and organisational facilitation groups.
